Ok, so I got to go to the LA Arboretum with a friend of mine today. It began as a beatufiul day, perfect for picture taking. By the end of the day it was cloudy and overcast and I was having some difficulty with landscape shots. Oh well. I took over 400 pictures, there's bound to be a few in there.
The male from Courtship. I can't believe he let me get so close, they usually took off if you got within a 10 feet of them but there were those brave few out for a free meal or too intent on whatever female was nearby. lol
This is my favourite of the peacock photos - I like the subtle blur in the foreground - it gives the photo some excellent depth - well done. Nice composition too
Thank you so much! I was actually going for that in this pic so the compliment means so much more. I really liked this particular boy even tho he was a bit of a Ham.
