| Being born and raised in a small town in Virginia, I was no stranger to beauty. However, being able to capture that beauty with a 35mm film, point and click camera was near impossible. I always promised myself that someday I would own a real, honest to goodness camera. That day finally came but I find that having what you want is not always what you need. What with time contraints and lack of knowledge with little cash allowance for an expensive hobby, I've found that Photography was not the easy thing I thought it would be. DeviantArt has given me a forum in which to address these issues. From the amazing artists here I've learned more in 2 months than I have from 6 months of trying to teach myself with only the manual that came with my Canon. Photography is a journey for some, I finally found my way onto the path....granted, it's a tad rocky right now, but I hope it smoothes out in the future.
